Fund-raising walkers from RAF Leuchars have handed over the proceeds of a three-day trek along the Fife coastline.
Earlier this summer, the team from the base’s Avionics Flight set off from the Forth Bridge along more than 80 miles of the Kingdom’s coastal path, finishing in the shadow of RRS Discovery, Dundee.

The event was organised by Sergeant Rob Brummitt as a fund-raiser for Dundee teenager Fraser Carr, who suffers from the brain condition encephalitis.

The £854 raised from the walk was handed over to the Carr family in a presentation at Leuchars.

The walk team included a number who stay on the Fife station, as well as others who commute from Angus and Dundee.
