Cosy comfort for kids

Dundee firm Cosy Carpets has been hard at work collecting money and toys for children’s charity Eighteen and Under.
Manager Michael Tanbini has been selling second-hand golf balls to customers and asking them to donate old toys for the Dundee-based children’s charity.

Michael raised £150 and handed the money, together with the toys, to Anne Brown and Linda Ross, from Eighteen and Under, today.

A spokeswoman for Eighteen and Under said, “As a small charity working with children who have been abused, we are constantly looking for different sources of funding.

“We rely on donations such as this to continue to offer children who have been abused the support they need.

“As part of the VIP personal safety programme, we teach children about safe ‘cosy’ hugs. This generous donation from Cosy Carpets will enable children who have been abused to have a toy they can practise cosy hugs on.”
