Detained after Arbroath incident
A man in his early 20s has been detained in connection with an incident in Arbroath in the early hours of this morning, writes Ralph Barnett.
Tayside Police officers attended at the scene, off Grant Road, at about 3 am following reports of a disturbance.

An injured man was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

The man is understood to be his 30s.

His injuries have been described as “serious, but not life threatening”.

Police officers remained in the area during the course of the morning carrying out further inquiries.
