| The cut off happened about 5.30 am and lasted for almost 50 minutes before workmen restored the supply.
Scottish Hydro-Electric said today an investigation had determined that the fault yesterday and the one today occurred on separate cables.
“It would seem there has been a coincidence and the faults have occurred on two different cables,” said the spokeswoman.
“At first we thought it was the same one, but it would seem there has been two separate faults.
“It has affected about 4000 properties, but not all of them will be the same ones affected yesterday.” |
