Meet RoboX, doing a Sensational job

RoboX meets the public at Sensation today.

The world’s first robotic tour guide has made himself at home at Dundee’s Sensation Science Centre.
RoboX, who comes from Switzerland, is set to take up his post as an Explainer.

His job will be to meet and greet visitors and patrol the centre in a bid to help people get the most out of their visit.

RoboX is part of a £1.4 million project called Roborealm, which is to be officially opened tomorrow.

Dr Kirsty Adamson, education and exhibits manager, said, “We are delighted to have RoboX here. He seems to be adapting well to life at the centre.”
