Boy attacked and robbed
Police in Dundee are appealing for witnesses after a nine-year-old boy was viciously attacked and robbed by three older boys outside the Central Library in the Wellgate Centre yesterday afternoon, writes Lynne Stewart.
The three boys, aged about 12 or 13, knocked the nine-year-old to the ground and stamped on his face before robbing him of his beige coloured jacket and Pokemon cards.

The incident happened between 3.20 pm and 3.45 pm.

The youngster suffered a bleeding nose but did not otherwise require medical treatment.

One of the assailants was wearing a black T-shirt and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe down each leg.

Another was wearing a white polo shirt with the letter R on the chest.

One of the youths had been pushing a shopping trolley shortly before the crime took place.
