EXPECTED TO SIGN
Goalkeeper Tony Bullock is expected to put pen to paper on a new contract at Dundee United before the end of the week (writes Tom Duthie).
The Englishman’s present deal is about to expire and the fact boss Gordon Chisholm is in the market for an experienced keeper has led to speculation Bullock would be leaving, former club Ross County were understood to be monitoring his position and there was also talk of a move to Australia.

The Tangerines, however, want two experienced men battling for the keeper’s jersey next term and hanging on to Bullock was always part of the plan for next season.

Dundee United have reminded fans their ‘Early Bird’ period for season tickets purchases ends on Sunday and they have only a few days left to take advantage of the biggest discounts on offer.

Prices before the weekend start at £210 for adults and £30 for Under-8s, which United believe make them the lowest in the SPL.

Existing season ticket holders should remember their £5 discount voucher can be redeemed only during the Early Bird period.

Season tickets can be purchased from the club shop, Dundee United Direct, in Tannadice Street, or by contacting the ticket office on 01382 833166.

Sales so far have been encouraging and, with a late rush expected, the shop will open from 9 am-5 pm on Saturday and 11 am-5 pm on Sunday.
