Continental touch

Some of the pupils being asked a multiple choice question in French.

Primary school pupils in Dundee were given a taste of the Continent as they spent the day at St John’s High School.
More than 100 primary seven pupils from St John’s feeder primaries attended the school’s languages department under the Passport to Europe programme.

As part of the programme, pupils participated in a range of events in a European environment and had the opportunity to practice their spoken French and Spanish.

The Hilton Dundee served up authentic French and Spanish food for the event, while Blackadders Solicitors provided medals to reward the children for taking part.
