GEOFF’S PLEA TO SAINTS FANS
St Johnstone chairman Geoff Brown has appealed for his club’s fans to be more vocal in their encouragement of the team — and revealed that one applicant for the recently-vacant managerial position told him that the team didn’t get the encouragement from the crowd that they should (writes James Masson).
And not only does Geoff want Saints fans to be more vocal he’s looking for them to get some musical motivation going.

“If any fans want to bring musical instruments along, that are acceptable to the club and the police, we would be happy to have them play if it roused up the rest of the crowd into giving us more vocal support,” Geoff commented.

Meanwhile, the chairman also revealed the club have pulled out of the Reserve League (East), but will play friendlies to keep their fringe players and youngsters ticking over.

And the club are to weave the names of all their season ticket holders into their new away top. The names will be imprinted on a fabric and interwoven into the top.
