| Organisers have put up the fully booked signs after receiving an overwhelming response for the six-week taster, which starts on April 20.
Similar such courses held in other parts of the city, including in Menzieshill and Craigie, seem to suggest Dundonians are keen on turning Commercial Street into Baker Street.
The organisers are making plans for a second one but, as things stand, the waiting list would almost fill it before it is advertised.
Those participating in the first course will get the chance to sample a different facet of forensics each day, including a look at why people commit crime, DNA, footprints, fingerprints and post mortems.
Beady-eyed students will also have the opportunity to visit a specially designed scenes-of-crime room, where they’ll be able to see how officers go about their work.
It is hoped the tasters will encourage participants to think about taking the discipline further, either at college or university.
They are free to everybody and for further information on upcoming courses, contact Caroline on 01382 432862. |
