DUNDEE’S SEMI AIM
Much of the focus at Dundee today was on the youth team as Stevie Campbell’s side attempted to join neighbours Dundee United in the Youth Cup semis (writes Tom Duthie).
The kids were playing host to Celtic and, up for grabs was a home draw against fancied Hearts in the last four. The Dark Blues were going into the tie on a high after a 5-1 league success over Inverness Caley Thistle last week, their biggest win of the season so far.

The first team were working normally and attackers Steve Lovell and Glenn Larsen confirmed their availability for the weekend clash with Kilmarnock by taking part in today’s training session.

Lovell missed the draw at Aberdeen and several sessions last week with a calf knock, while Larsen had been unwell.

It was not a happy weekend for defender Brent Sancho. He has been away with Trinidad, and was at the heart of their defence as they suffered an embarrassing 5-1 World Cup qualifying defeat away to Guatemala.
