Menzieshill folk can take a healthy interest
Members of the Dundee Public Partnership (Health) Group will be at Menzieshill Community Centre, Orleans Place, tomorrow between 11am and 3pm, to encourage local folk to share their views on how NHS Tayside delivers its services.
The group, made up of people from all walks of life with an interest in health issues, is going to be on hand at the centre to meet the residents, and give locals the opportunity to talk about any health issues, or raise any concerns they may have regarding the way health services are being delivered.

There are three Public Partnership (Health) Groups across Tayside, covering Dundee, Angus and Perth & Kinross. Each local group is independent, but they work in partnership with the NHS to gather the views of people in local communities and make recommendations on how they and the health service can work together.

The groups all believe local folk are ideally placed to spot problems and comment on how the health service works for real people. Local input is vital in helping shape how the health service works. The Dundee Public Partnership (Health) Group will be handing out information packs in Menzieshill about their role and inviting people to get involved.

Group chairman Mr Malcolm May said, “We’re especially keen to get more young people involved in the process, so would invite anyone in the Menzieshill area to come along tomorrow and share their views on the local health service — both their positive experiences and any concerns they may have.”
