| The Scottish Burned Children’s Club is getting £2000 and The Brae Dundee Riding Ability Centre is to receive £500.
The Burned Children’s Club will use the money to help fund its annual week-long summer camp for eight to 18-year-olds.
Contact centre manager Shona Turnbull successfully applied to BT Scotland’s staff fund, Give As You Earn, after learning about the charity from her firefighter husband George.
George and his Tayside colleagues helped raise £11,500 for the club last year.
The Brae is building a new centre on the outskirts of Dundee to give adults and children with learning difficulties the opportunity to care for and ride horses. |
