Update for Bro’ty website
A new-look website, featuring businesses and services in Broughty Ferry, is to be re-launched in the spring.
The cometobroughty site, operated by the Broughty Ferry Traders’ Association, has proved so popular since it was set up four years ago, it has been decided to bring it bang up to date.

BFTA spokesman Sandro Paladini said, “This is the best time of year to carry out work on the site, so it will be all singing, all dancing and ready to fire by the start of the tourist season. The site has been a great boon to Broughty Ferry in general, registering a high number of hits from people really all over the world.”

“We have learned a great deal about what people need from a website so, in order to make the cometobroughty site as effective a tool as possible, we have decided to rebuild and redesign it, to make it more user friendly and up-to-date.”

Mr Paladini said the ultimate aim was to have the site linking accommodation, restaurants and other services in the area and for it “to extol the virtues of the Dundee area in general.

“MediaCo, of Dundee, and specifically its managing director David Mill, has offered to design and optimise the site for us so Broughty Ferry will have the splendid website it deserves,” said Mr Paladini.
