| She first came to Dundee in 1920, from Morayshire, for nursing training.
She worked in the Royal Infirmary and Maryfield Hospital and met her husband, Dr John Macdonald, a medical superintendent at Maryfield.
She returned to nursing at Maryfield during the second world war, where she helped care for injured soldiers.
Mrs Macdonald has a son, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who live in the USA. |
