CD to benefit Dundee centre
The Maggies Centre in Dundee is to benefit from the proceeds of a CD put together by a recovering cancer victim.
Ronnie Cairns, who runs a non-profit organisation called the Ythan Music Trust, was diagnosed with a cancer infection in his neck last August. Following his recovery, he put together a two-volume compilation of music from stars who featured on the popular 1960’s television show “The White Heather Club”.

The CDs feature live audience recordings of acts such as Robert Wilson, Andy Stewart, Jimmy Shand, and the Joe Gordon Four. A donation from every CD sold will be made to The Maggies Cancer Care Centre in Dundee.

There are 20 tracks on each CD, each costing £8.99, and are available from Ythan Music, Woodend Leask, Ellon, AB41 8YJ or by telephone on 01779 841 543.
