ARCH RIVALS CLASH
Dundee Texol Stars have their last game before Christmas tonight, as they head to Fife to face arch-rivals Flyers in a Caledonia Cup game (writes Katherine Trail).
There was uncertainty as to the future of the competition when Newcastle Vipers announced they were pulling out a few weeks ago.

However, the competition is set to continue with just three teams — Stars, Flyers and Edinburgh Capitals.

This could be one of Stars’ last games with a missing import, as bosses have indicated they are very close to signing a replacement for Scott Corbett.

Meanwhile, veteran Frank Morris is poised to make a surprise return for Flyers this evening.

The ex-Scotland forward, who hung up his skates two years ago after a serious eye injury, has agreed to help out the Kirkcaldy-based outfit in the absence of a new import.

Face-off tonight at Fife Ice Arena is 8 pm and the entrance fee has been reduced to £7 (adults), £5 (students) and £3 (concessions).
