DINGWALL LIKELY
St Johnstone’s Scottish Cup tie away to Inverness Caley Thistle on January 8 is likely to be played at Ross County’s Victoria Park ground (writes James Masson).
Caley are working flat out to have their own ground ready for the SPL visit of Dunfermline on January 29, so have switched their tie against Saints.

Elgin’s Boroughbriggs ground was also a possibility, but it looks as though the match is set to take place in Dingwall.

Saints’ forward Michael Moore sustained shoulder damage in the 1-0 home win over St Mirren on Saturday, but it isn’t expected to keep him out of the home Boxing Day fixture against Raith.

Meanwhile, Saints won’t be signing Eric Paton from QOS during the January transfer window.
