| A Forfar man, who told friends and relatives who attended his 40th birthday bash to make a donation to Ward 33 at Ninewells Hospital instead of buying presents, was overwhelmed by the level of generosity shown by the party-goers. |
| Because today John Woodcock, whose son attends Ninewells, handed over a cheque for £550 to the ward.
His wife Gillian said, “John decided he didn’t want presents but donations to the ward, just to say thank-you for the help and support we have had from them. The money is going to the Paediatric Endowment Department (Neurology) and we are hoping it will help children in a similar predicament to our son.” |
