| Stephen McNally suffered severe cramps in his calves late in the game and, after being rested from training yesterday, was allowed to do only some light running today.
Iain Anderson was also only doing light work after suffering a reaction to the thigh problem that has curtailed his work for the last fortnight or so.
While they should be ready for Saturday’s trip to Motherwell, Steven Robb is not expected to make the squad and, while the extent of keeper Kelvin Jack’s leg injury has still to be confirmed, he is looking at three to four weeks on the sidelines.
“Robb’s is not as bad as we first feared, but he has already had a problem with his hamstring and I don’t see him training this week,” explained boss Jim Duffy.
“With Kelvin, there is still too much blood in his muscle to do a full examination, but we are sure it is a tear and that means anything up to a month.
“That’s a problem because it leaves us down to Derek Soutar and Scott Murray, who is not 17 until March. As well as being on the bench for the first team, he is going to have to play for the reserves and the youths, and that’s asking a lot.”
Meanwhile, supporters’ trust Dee 4 Life have announced they are launching their own Christmas Cards later this month. In a scheme sponsored by local companies Sidey, Allscot Finance and Dundee Removals. Packs of 10 cards costing £5 will be available in around two weeks.
