500 flock to city for Rotary conference
Over 500 delegates flocked to Dundee’s Apex Hotel today for the District 1010 annual conference, held on the centenary year of the Rotary Club’s founding.
The conference coincides with the mercy ship Anastasis being in dock and the vessel will be the focus of the weekend’s fundraising.

The conference opened with an afternoon of golf and curling, with the Lord Provost set to welcome delegates this evening, before they enjoy a whisky tasting session and a ceilidh.

Tomorrow’s main speaker will be Ann Gloag, co-founder of the Stagecoach transport empire and a member of Mercy Ships’ international board.
