Bug hits Saints
St Johnstone manager John Connolly is hoping a stomach bug doesn’t spread any further among his players (writes James Masson).
Several have been affected and John said the club are “monitoring the situation”. Sean Webb has had a recurrence of his knee knock and won’t face Hamilton on Saturday. But David Hannah, who missed the QOS win due to tonsillitis, is back in training.

Meanwhile, Saints travel to Berwick in the Bell’s Cup quarter-finals. Forfar travel to Clyde. Other ties — Falkirk v. Gretna, Ross County v. Partick. Ties on September 14 or 15.
