DUFFY POISED TO GET HIS MAN
Dundee hope to complete the signing of Trinidad and Tobago goalkeeper Kelvin Jack in the next 24 hours (writes Graeme Finnan).
The 28-year-old took part in a bounce game this morning and, should the required paperwork be in place, was expected to complete his move shortly.

Former Reading man Jack is no stranger to Dens boss Jim Duffy, who first met him 18 months ago at Dundee’s winter training camp in the Caribbean.

Jack will provide the Dens men with competition for Derek Soutar, who, despite only being 23, was the club’s “senior” keeper. However, with the Trinidadian lacking a bit of match practice, it’s almost certain Soutar will start against Hearts on Saturday.

Young keeper Scott Murray, who only recently signed for the club, was set to make his international bow tonight.

Murray was expected to line up for Scotland U/17s against host nation Finland in the Nordic Cup.

Meanwhile, other than long-term absentees Lee Wilkie and Tom Hutchinson, Dundee have no real injury worries for the big kick-off against the Jambos. “We’ve one or two wee niggling injuries, but nothing too serious,” stressed Jim.
