Four regional wholesalers for the SPAR chain of stores in Scotland are gearing up to run a half marathon in Dundee.
Philippe Rondepierre, Mark Davidson, John Leslie and Erica Skoukine, from C J Lang, regional wholesalers for SPAR stores in Scotland, are to compete in the SPAR Half Marathon on June 27.

The event, which will end Discovery Week celebrations, is being staged to raise funds for the Caring for Kids and Dundee Heritage Trust charities.

It is expected that around 600 runners will compete in the 13.1 mile race, which starts at City Square and heads west towards Invergowrie, coming back along Riverside towards the city, past Discovery and into the docks through City Quay. A final stretch along Dock Road will see runners complete their run at Broughty Ferry Castle.
