Welcome for Eileen

Eileen (front right) and some of those who came to listen.

Dundee’s Kirkton Community Centre today welcomed Eileen Ramsay, writer of historical novels and epic love stories, who spoke about her life and work to local residents.
After studying in Edinburgh, Eileen went to teach in the United States, where she remained for 20 years, before returning to Scotland with her Scottish husband and their two sons.

She began writing when her sons left home and, after having several of her historical novels published, she moved on to write about two of her passions, music and art.

She has also published serials, short stories for adults and children, articles, reviews and is Secretary of the Society of Authors in Scotland.
