DEFEAT A “SETBACK”
Dundee United manager Ian McCall has dismissed Saturday’s 3-0 defeat against Aberdeen as a “setback” (writes John Brown).
He said, “For a team that’s taken 13 points out of 15 in their last five games, you don’t become a bad side overnight. That was just a setback.”

Everyone who played on Saturday came through unscathed and there was a further boost with the news that Jim Paterson will play in tonight’s U/21 game against Aberdeen at Tannadice. Also playing will be Craig Easton, who may be given a starting berth in Sunday’s derby against Dundee, as Charlie Miller and Derek McInnes are suspended.
