| The Overgate shopping centre in Dundee was today presented with the National Civic Pride Award, in recognition of the way the building relates to its environment. |
| Dundee City Council nominated the centre for the awards and it was chosen as a national gold winner in the awards, which are part of the annual Green Apple Environment Awards, an international campaign to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice.
