TONY IS OK
Dundee United back-up keeper Tony Bullock has shown no lasting damage after picking up an injury in Monday night’s wee derby against Dundee U/21s (writes Graeme Finnan).
The big Englishman dislocated a finger and was forced to leave the field with 10 minutes to go, but fears he might be out of action were dismissed by boss Ian McCall this morning.

“Tony’s finger popped out, but the physio put it back in straight away, so there is no lasting damage,” said Ian.

The Tangerines U/21 side were due to face Rangers in an Under-21 game but that’s been postponed.

“The weather is horrendous and the forecast isn’t great, so I didn’t think it would be too clever taking the young lads down there for a game,” added Ian.

Lithuanian businessman Vladimiras Romanovas, who has talked to both Dundee United and Dundee about possibly investing in either club, is said to have demanded a March 1 deadline on answers to his proposals or any prospective deal is off. Dunfermline have already rejected an approach from the eastern European multi-millionaire.
