DUNDEE WAIT FOR NEMSADZE NEWS
Dundee were hoping to find out later today the extent of Georgi Nemsadze’s injury (writes Graeme Finnan).
The talented midfielder flew to Switzerland to see a specialist for a second opinion on the troubled knee which has kept him out since the middle of last month.

The Georgian has already been checked over by a consultant in this country and has been told he does not require surgery.

Meanwhile, Fabian Caballero was back at the club today after missing out earlier in the week due to a virus.

But the Argentine striker is still struggling and is now a doubt for Saturday’s SPL clash with Motherwell at Dens.

Fellow-countryman Juan Sara, who did well in midfield when he was introduced as a tactical change last week against Hibs following Craig Burley’s red card, could continue in the role.

Defender Lee Wilkie will be in his usual place against the Steelmen, despite breaking his nose during the 1-1 draw against the Easter Road outfit.

Dundee chief executive Peter Marr and director Jim Connor met with Giovanni di Stefano in London yesterday for discussions following the SFA stalling on their decision to ratify di Stefano as a director of the Dens Park club.

THE DUNDEE UNITED first-team squad were off today, but when they return tomorrow it’s hoped Charlie Miller will be able to join their numbers in training.

The midfielder, who has been sidelined for more than a month with ankle ligament damage, may be handed a place on the bench at Hibs on Saturday if he shows no adverse reaction.

United meet St Johnstone tonight in the SFA Youth Cup at Tannadice (KO 7 pm).
