Stepping Out — of their clothes

The stripped-off cast.

The cast of a one-off Montrose show have shed their clothes to raise cash for good causes.

Taking inspiration from recent film Calendar Girls, the 10 members of Stepping Out stripped off for their own calendar being released to coincide with their November show.

The cast has been brought together by local dance teacher Robina Addison for the Richard Harris play featuring nine women and one man who join a tap class.

The class is held under the watchful eye of a jaded dance teacher, played by Mrs Addison, and the story follows their progress as they strive to put on a charity tap show.

Stepping Out will be the first show to grace the newly-refurbished Montrose Town Hall.

It will be staged on November 13 and 14 at 7.30pm, and a charity ball will take place at the same venue on November 15. Tickets for the show and the ball are available from The Print Shop in Montrose.
