Ann’s 100th birthday celebration

Ann Stott celebrates with staff from Janet Brougham House.

Dundee woman Ann Stott celebrated her 100th birthday today with relatives, friends and wellwishers.

Ann, a resident at Janet Brougham house in the city, was the eldest of 10 children.

Two brothers and three sisters reside in various parts of the country and she has two daughters, three grandsons and five great-grandchildren.

Part of her working life was spent as a school dinner lady and her interests include crosswords, Scrabble and music.

Ann, who was widowed twice, attended Whitfield Parish Church regularly until illness prevented her.
