Fringe Benefits
If you’ve got any money left after T in the Park then keep it for some of the cracking gigs on offer at this year’s T on the Fringe festival in Edinburgh.

Right through August, bands like Balado heroes Polyphonic Spree and Super Furry Animals are back in Scotland, as are Elbow, whose brilliant new album Cast of Thousands is released the day after their August 17 gig.

The first single from that, Fallen Angel, hits the shops next week. Then there’s the fabulous Blackalicious, David Gray, Placebo, Ash, Grandaddy, Ice-T, Junior Senior and Michael Franti & Spearhead.

As usual too many to mention but something for everybody in there.

Now in its fourth year, T on the Fringe has spread out over five venues and as usual there’s been a huge demand for tickets.

Quite a few of the concerts have sold out already, so if you fancy catching any of the above bands you should check with the ticket outlets ASAP.

With that in mind, organisers DF Concerts have reacted to the phenomenal demand for the All-American Rejects show, which was meant to be at The Venue on August 25.

It’s now been moved to the 600-capacity Studio 24 in Calton Street.

Studio 24 will also host latest T on the Fringe additions Ok Go and The Webb Brothers the following night.
